| 5 | Retain control of design and have flexibility to incorporate Client changes up to the date of appointing a contractor. | ||
| 6 | Undertake regular reviews of design proposals and apply value engineering techniques to consider more cost efficient alternatives whilst not compromising design. | ||
| 7 | Monitor the works as they progress to ensure compliance with the Employer’s Requirements and provide regular progress reports. | ||
| 8 | Provide cost certainty through accurate financial surveying, which includes regular cost reporting, measuring interim valuations, Client variations and negotiating the Contactors Final Accout. | ||
| 9 | To supervise the Contractor to ensure works on site are carried out in compliance with Health & Safety best practice | ||
| 10 | To witness the commissioning of Building Services and provide confirmation that they perform in compliance with the designed criteria |
