Workplace Concepts was appointed by HH Saudi Research & Marketing to project manage all aspects of refurbishing the lower ground to fifth floor levels of Arab Press House.
The internal office space and facilities had not been touched for some 15 years, so the Client’s key objective was to refurbish the space and bring their headquarters office into the twenty first century, whilst they remained in occupation.
Their headquarters office is responsible for publishing daily newspapers across the Middle East so the option of losing any business continuity was not an option.
What we did
All seven floors were stripped back to shell & core and completely refurbished to a very high standard, with a number of specialist finishes. Confidentiality is a priority for the Client so all cellular offices and meeting rooms were constructed to provide a high level of acoustic privacy.
These works included all new building services and voice & data systems to serve the functionality of each area.
The space was redesigned to provide a mixture of open plan, cellular offices, meeting rooms, boardroom, receptions, staff breakout area, prayer room and computer room.
