BSRmetro is a Balfour Beatty company specialising in carrying out essential maintenance work to the London underground networks, including the rail infrastructure and structural bridges and tunnels.

Workplace Concepts were commissioned to provide a complete design and project management service for refurbishing the forth floor (12,000 sq ft) over an 8 week period

Due diligence - Pre-acquisition surveys:

• Mechanical & Electrical validation
• DDA (Disabled & discrimination audit)

Pre-tender:

• Develop the Client's requirements
• Concept & detailed design
• Tender the works

Contract:

• Strip out all finishes and services back to building shell 
• Build new solid and full height glazed partitions
• Install new suspended ceiling
• Form new offices, meeting rooms, boardroom, training room, reception area, staff breakout and server room.
• Audio and visual presentation equipment
• New modular lighting, emergency lighting and fire alarm installation 
• Modifications and enhancements to the air conditioning system
• Install full height storewall cupboards 
• Infrastructure voice & data cabling (CAT 5e) 
• Floor and wall finishes
• Procurement and installation of new office furniture
• Relocation of Clients office equipment and move management 

Post-contract:

• Maintenance agreements
