Workplace Concepts were commissioned to provide a complete design and project management service for refurbishing part of the first floor and common parts (5,000 sq ft) over a period of 4 weeks, ready for re letting. The general scope of works included:
Pre Tender:
- Develop the Client’s requirements
- Concept and detailed design
- Tender the works
Contract:
- Stripped out previous tenant’s fixtures and fittings
- Built new fire related partitions to create two separate demise areas
- Reinstated the existing suspended ceiling and lighting to accommodate open plan
- Segregate the building services so supplies can be separately metered
- Refurbish the common parts
- Modifications and enhancements to the air conditioning system
- Floor and wall finishes
- External repairs and clean all elevations of the building
